What's in a bar?

Do the ingredients in your soap matter? They do! Your skin is the largest organ in/on your body. And it's absorbent. Take care of it! Bar soap you find in the store has a bunch of additives and chemicals that are unnecessary and not great for your skin. You get what you pay for. Try a better alternative. Handmade, small batch, cold process soap from a Mom who cares. (Bareback is my family's favorite!) Try a bar today!

Each bar is made with...Olive oil, Coconut oil, certified sustainably sourced Palm oil (yay for orangoutangs!), nourishing Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Hemp oil and Castor oil. Carefully formulated for a rich and creamy lather, that gently cleanses without harshly striping your skin. You're welcome.

Welcome! My name is Kayla! I’m a Wife, and Mom of one. Immediately after I had my son, I realized how much heartache and pain leaving him to go back to work would cause me. I didn’t want to be separated. I needed to figure out a way to help gain income for my family while being with my son full time. So one night, as I lay in bed searching for DIY sugar scrub recipes, the idea popped into my head, “I could formulate my own sugar scrub and sell it!” One rabbit hole lead to another and before I knew it, I was making small batch, cold process soap. 

Combining my love of being in the kitchen with my love of quality skin care, I give you, Scrub Jockeys Bath Co. The equestrian theme was inspired by my son’s name. He was named after my Granny, who was named after her father’s favorite horse.  I’ve always loved horses and grew up around them. So it fit like a [riding] glove! Feel free to stay a while, look around, and find something you like. I hope you enjoy these goodies that are carefully handmade, by a Mom who cares.
